Our Story
March 13, 2020.
The day the COVID-19 pandemic was declared a national emergency in the United States.
The day businesses across the country were forced to close their doors – some for good.
The day everything changed.
A global pandemic is something no one could have anticipated, let alone prepared for. It was jarring, unexpected and downright scary, especially for business owners whose companies relied on face-to-face interactions with their clients and customers. Having to transition into the uncharted territories of a fully remote workforce left many businesses feeling like they were dangerously close to game over.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us all to think smaller in many aspects of our lives. From a lofty office space to working at our kitchen tables. From cross-country vacations to camping trips in our own backyards. It became clear that the secret to adapting, growing and succeeding in our new normal would begin close to home.
That’s when the idea for Level Up Local was born.
From Obstacle ...
Working from home brought us back to our roots, honing our craft from our kitchen tables the way many of us started out years prior. It served as a reminder of where we’ve been, what we’ve learned and who enabled us to grow: our community. The local businesses in our own neighborhoods were some of our first customers, and also some of our most valued customers - even all these years later.
To Opportunity
Learning how to market our clients on a local level provided us with the knowledge base we needed to scale up, and this venture is providing us with the platform to help small businesses just like yours make your own mark in the communities you serve
